Barry Bonds sitting with Alex Rodriguez at Warriors game

Two of the most accomplished — and certainly two of the most controversial — baseball players of all-time sat next to each other at an NBA game on Sunday, which has drawn many reactions from the sports world.

Former MLB star sluggers Barry Bonds and Alex Rodriguez got together to watch Sunday’s matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves, televised nationally on ESPN.

Rodriguez hilariously revealed this on Twitter prior to the game by having Bonds pose as his Uber driver while heading to the game.

“Great Uber service in San Fran baby. The GOAT,” said Rodriguez while laughing.

The two were then seen chopping it up while sitting courtside at the game, being recognized and praised by ESPN’s Beth Mowins on commentary.

“Look at who we have got courtside. That is a whole heck of a lot of home runs with A-Rod and Barry Bonds in the house,” said Mowins.

As Mowins alluded to, these two are among the greatest home-run hitters in baseball history, combing for 1,458 career home runs.

Many offered their opinion on social media of the two all-time baseball greats going to the Warriors’ game together.

However, their past steroid use has clearly not gone away, and many referenced that in their response to their appearance.

While Rodriguez is a public figure and is quite often seen at sporting events, it’s a different story when it comes to Bonds. However, he looks to be in pretty great shape in life outside of baseball with the stress of steroid criticism surrounding his life.
