The Oakland Athletics have new leadership in place, and they are opening the door for fans to voice their concerns with the new team president. Dave Kaval will hold open office hours to the public next Tuesday, December 6, and fans will be given an opportunity to sound off about the state of the franchise and its plans moving forward.

It is actually more of an open forum event, rather than fans lining up to take a seat in Kaval’s office in the Oakland Coliseum, but the goal is the same- hear the voices of the fans and establish a trusting relationship between one of the faces of the front office and the fans.

It’s also a win-win situation for the A’s, who can put their new president out there in public and provide a unique opportunity for fans to share their sentiments about the A’s directly to the front office.

The open office hours event next Tuesday is the first in a series of similar events that will be held every Tuesday, although starting December 13, fans will need to make an appointment to meet with Kaval.
