The Toronto Blue Jays have a three-game winning streak going, after taking down the New York Yankees 7-1 on Monday night.

Most would consider a three-game winning streak to be a modest winning streak, but the Blue Jays had a 6-17 record entering this streak. So they’re pretty damn excited about it.

Toronto manager John Gibbons was feeling so good after the game, that he decided to have some fun with the Blue Jays’ postgame radio show. Gibbons called in to the team’s postgame show on SportsNet 590 The Fan, and identified himself as “John from the Bronx”:

Solid effort there from “John from the Bronx,” but apparently not enough to fool Blue Jays Talk host Mike Wilner.
