I’m not in a cult, nor a pyramid scheme, but if there is one thing I’ve been pushing to people I know, it’s to seriously get your head out of your ass and watch Brockmire. With that in mind, the good folks over at IFC sent us this clip for tomorrow’s episode and a) it’s hilarious as always and b) no, we’re not getting paid to post this. I just like Brockmire and thought this would be a good way to get the word out instead of just telling random people at bars and parties.
Anyways, with Brockmire having last week off (I almost smashed my DVR thinking I had missed it), here is a tasty morsel to get you through the rest of your day. If you’re not a regular viewer (big mistake), this works as a nice a nice starter clip as well.
We’re about half way through season two and it’s been teased that the lighthearted debauchery that is central to the show and Brockmire’s life will get some type of confrontation. Lucky for us, Joe Buck plays a pivotal role. Last year, Buck had what was my favorite line from any show when he shared, “I was born in Florida, of course I’ve had a finger in my ass.”
I’m a bit torn on whether or not I want Brockmire to get sober, as his zealous partying is such a huge part of the show’s identity and shtick, but I imagine the show will continue to be extremely inappropriate and hilarious even if the title character isn’t insanely inebriated the majority of the time.
Anyway, good job PR people at IFC. I am writing nice things about the show and while our readers are here, I thought I’d drop that other Joe Buck clip from last year too. I never thought I’d say this, but enjoy Joe Buck.
