We have already seen some ridiculousness in the World Baseball Classic with Israel pulling off a colossal upset of South Korea, and an absolutely hilarious play thanks to a Chinese Taipei error on a bunt. And on Tuesday, former major league pitcher Bruce Chen provided more ridiculousness with his shoe game.
Chen was the starting pitcher for China against Cuba, and he did so while wearing some horrible spikes:

I don’t even have to ask the inevitable question of What are Those? I know what they are. Just horrible shoes.
Though Chen is now a cultural development coordinator for the Cleveland Indians, his shoes say he works in the food industry. The shoes might not look good, but hey, these no-slip shoes will keep him from slipping on that Mountain Dew that spilled all over the floor!
Better shoes: Bruce Chen’s or the Curry Twos?
