Bryce Harper appears to be ready to go.
The 2021 National League MVP made a massive announcement on his Instagram account. Harper, who missed the season’s first month due to a brutal UCL injury, asked Philadelphia Phillies fans, “Are you ready?” suggesting that the superstar is ready to go.

Harper led the Phillies to their first National League pennant since 2009 a season ago. He had a monster postseason, in which the touted superstar smashed six home runs during Philadelphia’s run. He’s still one of the best players in the sport, even as his injury history slows him down a little bit. He played the first seven years with the Washington National before joining the Phillies in the 2018 off-season.
The Phillies will be happy to regain Harper’s services. They’re off to a skittish 15-14 start to the season through the first month. They’ve recorded 126 runs this season, second-most in the NL East Division behind first-place Atlanta, who has scored 138.
Bryce Harper is a lifetime .280 hitter with 285 home runs throughout his impressive MLB career. But the two-time NL MVP is still looking for that first World Series championship. Harper won his first MVP award in 2015 with the Nats.
The MLB world reacted to the massive news.
Only 159 days after Tommy John surgery, two-time MVP Bryce Harper has been cleared to play by the Philadelphia Phillies, sources tell ESPN. A remarkable recovery, shattering expectations he’d return in July. He's expected to be in the lineup starting at designated hitter Tuesday.
