Bats out for Harambe.

Washington Nationals slugger Bryce Harper paid homage to the fallen gorilla Thursday during batting practice with a graphic of Harambe with “RIP” written across the ape’s chest covering the knob of his bat.

Going into Game 5 of the NLDS on Thursday night, the Nationals are 2-2 in elimination games since first making the playoffs in 2012. We’ll see if they have better luck than Harambe, who unfortunately finished his all-too-short career 0-1 when facing elimination.
