Charlie Sheen, who played Cleveland Indians pitcher Ricky Vaughn in the Major League movies, has made himself known this year during the Indians’ World Series run — whether it’s cheering on Cleveland or wanting to throw out the first pitch.

But while Sheen has been excited about the Indians’ success, the organization has not shown any love back to the movie and TV star. Sheen isn’t a part of Cleveland’s plans during the World Series, who have instead given those opportunities to notable players from the franchise’s past. With that in mind, Sheen decided to go after the Indians as they officially lost their lead over the Chicago Cubs during Tuesday’s game six.

In case any of you don’t get Sheen’s cryptic tweet, he basically is blaming a possible Cleveland loss on the fact the team didn’t let Sheen throw out the first pitch.

With the Cubs winning Game 6 and tying the series, Sheen might have been right after all. Looking at this from a big picture standpoint, it seems kind of stupid for the Indians to be so stubborn. It would’ve caused a lot fewer headlines if the team had just allowed Sheen to throw out a pitch. Plus, it would’ve brought back nostalgia for some of the greatest sports movies of all time.

Now, if the Indians do blow their 3-1 lead and lose the World Series, we’ll always wonder if they would have won if they just let Ricky Vaughn throw a heater.
