Outfielder Chris Taylor has been on a postseason tear for the Dodgers. He actually had a better season than you might realize, racking up nearly 5 WAR on both Fangraphs and Baseball-Reference.

Taylor was red hot in the NLCS, hitting two homers en route to a .316/.458/.789 slash line, helping to power the Dodgers five-game destruction of the Cubs.

Taylor was batting leadoff tonight for the Dodgers, and after Clayton Kershaw worked a scoreless first, Taylor took the first Dallas Keuchel offering he saw deep to left:

Good heavens, what a blast.

If Taylor is going to continue to do his best MVP-caliber Mike Trout impression, the Dodgers are going to be very tough to beat.
