Joe Maddon is a mad man, there is no disputing it. It’s apparently rubbing off on some of his players as the Chicago Cubs continue to look like a team of destiny.

Javy Baez is a player that seems to be benefiting the most from the aggressiveness. He took it to an entire new level though when he stole home on Saturday night. Carlos Ruiz thought he could catch Javy Baez in a pickle, Baez was a bit smarter than that though and was able to jet towards home.

Take a look at the exciting play at the plate.

This was the first time since 1995 a player in the NLCS stole home. The player? Jeff Branson with the Cincinnati Reds. You don’t see plays more rare than that. As the Cubs continue to win and keep moving on, maybe we will see a triple play at some point. That would definitely ensure that the “Billy Goat curse” is on it’s way to being broken.

Just don’t let any Cubs’ fans know. You don’t want to jinx them.
