The Atlanta Braves have found some success with their bats early on in Game 7 of the National League Championship Series. The first inning saw Los Angeles Dodgers’ starter Dustin May walk initial batters Ronald Acuña Jr. and Freddie Freeman on four pitches each, then surrender a RBI single to Marcell Ozuna. May got out of the first inning after Travis D’Arnaud grounded into a double play and Ozzie Albies struck out, but the Dodgers replaced him with Tony Gonsolin for the second inning anyways. And Gonsolin got off to a rather poor start, giving up a home run to Braves’ shortstop Dansby Swanson:

That’s an impressive homer by Swanson, coming in at 434 feet, and standing as one of his longest home runs:

Swanson’s home run gave the Braves a 2-0 lead. We’ll see where it goes for them from there.
