While there’s no indication yet when MLB play will resume in the wake of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, a couple of prominent Boston celebrities have made a notable offer to area healthcare workers. Red Sox legend David Ortiz and famed actor John Krasinski recently teamed up to provide four Red Sox tickets for life to the staff of Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, as discussed in this third episode of Krasinski’s Some Good News:

It’s certainly notable to see prominent Boston figures like Krasinski and Ortiz (both featured in Hyundai’s “Smaht Pahk” Super Bowl commercial, even) teaming up for this sort of benefit. And it’s cool to see them giving back to healthcare workers during this difficult time.
