The Los Angeles Dodgers aren’t mad at Yasiel Puig. They’re just disappointed.

The recently demoted Dodgers outfielder took to Snapchat, posting video partying with Dodgers minor leaguers. Puig dropped some F-bombs, embraced his inner meme-God and shouted out Harambe and appeared to be drunk. NSFW (language):

The Dodgers, who are already unimpressed with Puig’s habits, were not impressed he was posting public Snapchats that showed him partying with minor leaguers. Team president Andrew Friedman released a statement saying the club would address the incident internally.

“We are aware of what Yasiel posted on social media last night, and while we are disappointed in his and some of our players’ judgment, this is a matter we will address internally,” Dodgers president Andrew Friedman said, per the Southern California News Group’s J.P. Hoornstra.”

I can see both sides to this.

On one hand, Puig was just demoted to the minors. He’s no doubt an MLB player. He’s pissed and probably wanted to drink some of his sorrows away. No big deal, right? Well, considering he made all of his shenanigans public and didn’t necessarily act appropriately, it’s not a good look. He was sent down partly due his behavioral issues. Immediately acting a’ fool online doesn’t bode well for Puig.

The Dodgers should be upset, but Puig is already in that camp. Still, he needs to know better than making questionable Snapchat videos days after he’s sent down for attitude issues.

Delete Snapchat, Puig, it’s the only solution. Either way, excellent troll job.
