A wild incident outside of Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night between fans has gone viral on social media and yet again raised concerns about security at the venue.

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost 5-1 to the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday. To make matters worse, two Dodgers fans got into it outside of Dodger Stadium which left one of them seriously injured.

KTLA News in Los Angeles captured video of the fight where one fan was knocked unconscious by the other. A witness of the incident discussed the situation from his point of view.

“They started pushing each other and then they got into a fight and then a couple of seconds later one guy was knocked out on the floor, unconscious,” Jonathan Lopez told KTLA. “I honestly don’t know what started it. You could tell some of them were drunk and some of them were almost drunk.”

The man unconscious on the floor was then attended to after the fact by the Dodgers security staff. He was put on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, the other fan was placed in handcuffs according to Lopez.

It is pretty uncommon to hear about two fans of the same fanbase getting into a fight. Many took notice of this and blasted the two fans, while others blamed the Dodgers security team.

This is unfortunately not a rare occurrence at Dodgers games over the years. They are most synonymous with an incident in 2013 where a San Francisco Giants fan was tragically stabbed and killed by a Dodgers fan in Dodger Stadium.

An incident also occurred earlier this season where several minor scuffles ensued inside the stadium.
