helicopter Puig

If Yasiel Puig was expecting to fly around and over the horrific traffic in Los Angeles as a way to get to Dodgers games, he’s going to have to go back to the drawing board. A day after we learned Puig went out and bought himself a helicopter to avoid the traffic, the Dodgers have informed him he may not be allowed to follow through with his otherwise brilliant outside-the-box thinking.

Well, bummer. That would have been so fun to see. Of course, there may not be any rules about skydiving into the stadium. Maybe Puig could do that? After all, it’s not exactly like parachuting into a stadium is all that unheard of…

Please, baseball gods, let this happen just once. Or every freaking day.

In other Puig-related news, because it’s not a day unless something is happening around the mercurial outfielder, he missed the first full-squad Dodgers practice on Thursday after he had his wisdom teeth extracted. I’m sure there will be some fervor surrounding that one.
