This week, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced plans to give a “Community Hero Award” to the Los Angeles chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence – a self-described “order of queer and trans nuns” – during the team’s “LGBTQ+ Pride Night” at Dodger Stadium on June 16th. And Donald Trump Jr. is not happy with that plan.

This week, Donald Trump Jr. – obviously the son of former United States President Donald Trump – posted a tweet criticizing the Los Angeles Dodgers and Major League Baseball for planning to give the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence an award next month.

“The LA Dodgers are bowing to the woke mob and are now giving an award to a sick blasphemous anti-Catholic group of activist drag queens during their pride night baseball game. Sign a letter to the Dodgers and tell them to keep politics out of sports!” Donald Trump Jr. said in a tweet this week.

Trump Jr. also shared a petition titled “Tell The Dodgers To Keep Radical Agendas Out Of Sports.”

“We want to watch baseball with our families. We don’t want to see anti-Catholic drag queens honored at Dodger Stadium. America’s pastime should unite and entertain people of all ages, not divide us. Keep radical agendas out of our sports,” the petition reads.
