Fuller House cast

If you grew up in the 1980s and 1990s, then chances are, you have at least a passing interest in the new Netflix series Fuller House, which dropped on the online service today for subscribers to binge on their favorite, wholesome TV sitcom family from the TGIF era. Yes, the Tanners are back after decades off the screen, and it seems one of the Tanner daughters has found herself attached to a big league boyfriend.

It is at this point we will recommend you be advised this could be a spoiler, although if you are the kind of person who gets enraged by being spoiled over a show like Fuller House, please have some mercy on us. You shouldn’t be clicking this link anyway!

Stephanie Tanner, played by Jodie Sweetin, appears to be the new version’s Uncle Jesse equivalent and will be dating none other than Hunter Pence of the San Francisco Giants in (at least) one episode.

Fans of the Giants got a sneak peek at the new show last season when part of an episode was filmed in between innings of a Giants home game against the rival Los Angeles Dodgers. Stephanie was filmed singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” which did not go particularly well (surely according to the script).

Maybe you will be binge-watching Fuller House this weekend. We can only imagine the Milwaukee Brewers will be doing so when not grinding in Spring Training. The Brewers took advantage of the Fuller House hype today to announce 90s Night in Milwaukee later this summer. Of course, it should be noted the Brewers misplayed this promotion and video by not scheduling their 90s Night for when the San Francisco Giants come to Milwaukee.

Fuller House is available for watching on Netflix right now.
