Baseball is back, and with baseball comes devastating, moonshot dingers.
One player not lacking in power is Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, power he displayed again on Wednesday night, bashing this monster homer off of Wei-Yin Chen. Check out how far this baby goes:

That’s a mash right there.
The official distance of Cespedes HR has been entered as "holy fucking shit."

As one Tweeter noted, it could have really hurt Miami’s newest friend:
Gonna hurt Don Cattingly with swings like that tbh https://t.co/OWliSKmAUI

Also, Don Cattingly was so clearly the best choice:
So… what should we name our #RallyCat? ??

Cespedes loves hitting at Marlins park; he’s only played 17 games there prior to tonight, but that’s his fourth homer already, and he’s slashing .338/.388/.563, which is a very impressive line. It bodes well for the Mets, who are probably going to need all the offense they can get as they try to contend for the NL East crown.
Update: Cespedes really loves hitting at Marlins park, because he added another moonshot later on:
As ESPN notes, that’s 6 homers in the Mets first 10 games for Cespedes. Good lord.
