Cleveland Guardians

A fan fight during the Cleveland Guardians game at Progressive Field Saturday led to no arrests and no injuries … but plenty of snarky comments on social media.

The fight during the Guardians win over the Los Angeles Angels first appeared in an Instagram post by user Instagram/b1ake_55. It began under strange circumstances. A man in a red shirt and a woman sitting with him were apparently arguing with two women sitting in the row behind them, when a fan carrying nachos tried to return to his seat between the two arguing parties. The red-shirt man said something to one of the women behind him, who then appeared to make a spitting motion at the man.

With that, the red-shirt man slapped the woman twice in the head. That prompted the nachos man to drop his snack and begin brawling with the man.

As Twitter user Joe Kinsey joked, “This feels like the very first legit fan fight in Cleveland Guardians history. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.”

The brawl escalated, and several of the combatants ended up wrestling on the ground.

According to TMZ, there were no injuries and no arrests were reported.

Baseball fans who found the video on social media had mixed emotions, but seemed extremely concerned about the wasted nachos.
