The Texas Rangers, being in Texas, have a responsibility to create food items that are pure meat on top of meat. That’s Texas.

Rangers aren’t disappointing this year as they have unveiled the “Wicked Pig” sandwich. According to the Fort Worth Star Telegram, the Wicked Pig is a “Hawaiian roll layered with pulled pork, thick cut Danish bacon, a split sausage, prosciutto, thick sliced ham, covered in barbecue sauce, topped with coleslaw and pork rinds.”

This is pure pig on top of pig on top of pig. (Somehow, Yoenis Cespedes must be responsible.) But at least there’s a theme to this sandwich, unlike certain hot dogs that are made with the leftovers from the back of your refrigerator. It’s decadent, it’s pork heaven (or hell, depending on your point of view), it’s over the top.

But also give the Rangers credit for not being a one note singer, as they are also providing plentiful vegan options this season (Vegan Nachos, Vegan Hot Dog, Vegan Jerky). All ying must have yang.
