Javy Baez is, objectively, the coolest player in Major League Baseball, and he’s proving it again in the World Baseball Classic.

Baez attempted to steal third in the fourth inning of Puerto Rico’s game against the Netherlands, and it looked like he would be out by a considerable margin. However, he spun around the tag while sliding at full speed to avoid it. It worked.

Baez is known as the best tagger in baseball, and earlier in the World Baseball Classic, he started celebrating a no-look tag before the tag was even made.

What would happen if Javy Baez tried sliding around a Javy Baez tag? That’s the ultimate question of our times that we’ll never have an answer to.
