It’s been an amazing year for Justin Turner.
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ third baseman finished seventh in NL MVP voting , and was named co-NLCS MVP (with teammate Chris Taylor) to lead the Dodgers to the World Series.
Off the field, the playoff hero got engaged in March, and his bachelor party took place Sunday in Los Angeles with a “Sports Day” theme. Turner and his buddies were on the Staples Center court before or after the Lakers-Rockets game, and that experience included a half-court shooting contest between Rockets stars James Harden and Chris Paul.

The bachelor party also made its way to the Stubhub Center, where the Chargers were playing the Browns. Turner got to hang out with Chargers legends LaDainian Tomlinson and Shawne Merriman on the sidelines.
This all made me immediately think of the bachelor party in Parks and Rec, in which the guys went to Lucas Oil Stadium to hang out with the Colts.
