It’s been an emotional week for Kato Kaelin, with O.J. Simpson getting parole… and with the Milwaukee Brewers going through a poor stretch of baseball. Obviously, these are two very different topics, but it’s the Brewers’ play that has made Kaelin rant away on Twitter.

The former O.J. Simpson houseguest and murder trial witness had a Twitter meltdown on Wednesday after the Brewers lost their fourth straight game, and saw their NL Central lead over the Cubs dwindle from 5.5 games to just 1.5 games in a span of four days.

Well, the Brewers followed that up with a loss to the Pirates on Thursday, and then a loss to the MLB-worst Phillies on Friday night in Philadelphia. That’s six straight losses, and the Brewers now only hold a one-game lead over the Cubs, a two-game lead over the Pirates, and a three-game lead over the Cardinals.

And with that came another Kaelin Twitter meltdown!

“Hitting coach QUIT NOW” is probably my favorite line in there.

As I said after Kaelin’s last meltdown, this is a Brewers team greatly exceeding expectations. Every projection system had them winning fewer than 80 games and finishing third or fourth place in the NL. FanGraphs has Milwaukee projected for the fifth-worst record in MLB the rest of the season (just in terms of the remaining games, not the overall record), because the roster talent just isn’t great on paper. It’s a young team that has “arrived” a year or two early and is maxing out their roster talent (to which manager Craig Counsell deserves a ton of credit).

Hopefully most Brewers fans keep all of this in mind, but Kaelin certainly isn’t.
