Today’s Brewers game already brought us one highlight, when Orlando Arcia scored from first on an infield hit.  Now, it brings another, via an unexpected source.

Kato Kaelin, professional-hanger-on, is known more for his association with people like O.J. Simpson (ugh) and Charlie Sheen (only slightly less of an ugh). He’s also known for his Brewers fandom, which has a tendency to manifest itself in very interesting ways.

To wit, or lack thereof:

There are more, though it’s instructive to note that those tweets were sent during a season in which the Brewers, to the surprise of just about everyone (but especially the Cubs), enjoy the lead in the NL Central past the midway point of the season.

Still, everyone’s a fan differently, and Kaelin was at Miller Park today to watch his team:

Apparently he bought a 50/50 charity raffle ticket (or several) at one point, as well, because when they announced the winners, this guy was one of them.

Let’s play “Spot the reality celebrity amongst regular Brewers fans”:

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Kato will take home a tidy sum for his efforts:

“I love the Brewers and they were winners, and this just made it so much sweeter that we were winners at the game, too,” Kaelin told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in a phone interview.

Kaelin along with his brother, sister-in-law and a friend from Los Angeles spent $30 on the raffle, 50% of which goes to charity while the other 50% goes to the raffle winners. The group won $12,411 which they will divide amongst themselves.

“We have to do the taxes right away, and after dividing it, the money won’t go very far in L.A.” Kaelin said. “I’ll probably go grocery shopping at Whole Foods.”

He might be easy to mock, but hey, at least he was supporting charity.

And his tean.
