There are many hopes resting on the shoulders of Kris Bryant on the North side of Chicago this season. A few of those hopes were momentarily juggled when Bryant posted an Instagram video of himself swimming with sharks.

It doesn’t look like he was in a cage as the sharks were swimming right next to him. Who knows if he was wearing chainmail at the time either? The good news is he was able to post the video to Instagram so presumably he made it out without a scratch.

All that means is the Cubs’ 2016 World Series Champions parade is still on. Well, for now at least.
