The Padres avoided a sweep by beating the Red Sox 3-1 in their interleague series finale today, but that wasn’t the biggest win at Petco Park this afternoon.

That’s A+ use of an occasionally tired joke. Petco Park, by the way, is a fantastic place to watch a baseball game. The sense of humor on display is just a bonus.
