Michael Busch Cubs HR call Credit: MLB

Chicago Cubs infielder Michael Busch hit a walk-off home run against the San Diego Padres. The blast Busch belted into the night stirred Cubs fans up and got them very excited. That excitement remained palpable the next day after an epic call on the homer went viral.

The Spanish radio broadcast for the Cubs went berserk after Busch hit the walk-off home run. Cubs Spanish radio play-by-play man Miguel Esperaza lent his voice to the call and everyone who listened got swept away.

“This Spanish call by @Miguelsvoice of Michael Busch’s walk-off homer Tuesday night was electric!” MLB boasted on their X account. MLB provided audio and video of the call, and it’s safe to say that people were pleased to listen to it.

Some of the reactions to the call showed exactly that.

And then, Esperaza himself added his own exclamation point.
