The two-way talents of Shohei Ohtani were on full display in the Los Angeles Angels‘ 5-2 win over the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night.

As the winning pitcher, Ohtani threw seven scoreless innings, allowed just two hits, gave up zero earned runs, and struck out 10.

And at the plate, Ohtani hit a go-ahead two-run single, walked, and stole his 10th base of the season.

Ohtani touched 101 mph with his fastball.

The Japanese sensation becomes the first MLB player since 1920 to strike out 10 batters, drive in two runs, and steal a base all in the same game.

He hasn’t given up an earned run over his last four starts, while striking out 40 batters.

The 2021 AL MVP has a 2.44 ERA on the mound and an .839 OPS at the plate this season.
