‘Lit’ is not the term many would often use to describe a game between the Minnesota Twins and the Detriot Tigers, but today proved to be quite the exception due to a bizarre turn of events.

During the Twins-Tigers matchup at Comerica Park, a fan suddenly took to the field and delayed play with his antics as he zipped around the players and took to the open field. Needless to say, he proved to be rather elusive for security to handle and even showed a little shiftiness in his ability to elude capture.

Whether he was tired from the summer heat or he ran on a full stomach, he stopped and apparently gave himself up, but regardless was tackled to the ground by security, who showed some good form in the process of taking down the rogue fan. What’s interesting is that, had he not stopped and seemingly given up, the fan could have probably run around longer and provided further entertainment. Regardless, they certainly sparked the game with some brief excitement and the tackle brought a level of physicality not seen in baseball stadiums on a regular basis.
