The Cubs may have turned the first triple play of the season the other night, but the Royals turned a double play today that may have topped it.
Sure, there was one fewer out recorded, but style counts:

That it really does look like Junis kicked it up in the air on purpose is great, but an underrated part of that play: that the batter would still have been out at first somehow thanks to an amazing play on both ends.
(An aside: when every stadium is empty, the one with the functioning waterfall instantly becomes one of the more fun places to actually have a game.)
Despite that, though, the White Sox are winning 4-2 in the 7th.
Still, a fun highlight play is a fun highlight play!
