San Diego Padres fan fight

The San Diego Padres lost 2-1 to the Chicago White Sox at Petco Park on Sunday night.

But that wasn’t the only loss for Padres‘ fans during the game. While attempting to film the performance of a mariachi band on the field, a random Twitter user turned their attention to a brawl that had erupted in the nosebleeds.

One man can be seen punching another man and then tossing him over several rows of chairs. Bystanders attempt to intervene, and are quickly punched and thrown over the stands in similar fashion for their troubles.

The camera loses focus when a small stampede starts in the stands in attempt to avoid the fracas as the mariachi band continued its performance.

This is the second high-profile fight in as many weeks for Padres’ fans. Their fans were also seen brawling with Los Angeles Dodgers‘ fans in the stands last week.

Twitter users were quick to get their jokes off:

“Cleared the whole gang, OH MY GOD,” wrote one user.

“Padres fans preparing for the inevitable postseason collapse,” another Twitter user wrote.

“When the Padres get eliminated, I feel like this will happen again,” wrote a third Twitter user.

The Padres are next in action Monday night when they host the San Francisco Giants.
