Oakland Athletics pitcher Sean Doolittle took to Twitter to announce his engagement to Eireann Dolan by using bobbleheads as props on his Twitter account. That’s a fun and creative way to share the good news, as both have their likenesses captured in bobblehead form. The two are also pretty fun and light-hearted on Twitter, so this feels like it as par for the course for these two.

That’s awesome! Congrats to the two of you! Hey, do you have a band for the wedding reception? If not, Smash Mouth would like to book the gig. If you noticed, Smash Mouth may have spilled the beans by tweeting about playing at the wedding hours before Doolittle formally announced the engagement on Twitter.

I am wondering if they are doing weddings on the weekends these days. They’ll have to schedule it around the occasional Twitter fight with various Bay Area sports figures.
