The Tenors, a group of tenors singing the Canadian anthem at the MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday in San Diego, thought the moment was a great time to make a tone-deaf political statement. For some reason, the tenor (seen on the far left) decided to hold up an “All Lives Matter” sign during the performance.

On top of that, this garbage clown had the audacity to change the lyrics in the Canadian anthem to fit his cause:

“We’re all brothers and sisters, all lives matter to the great.”

Here’s the actual lyrics:

“With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!”

Yeah, that’s not close. That’s some jackass taking a COUNTRY’S ANTHEM and changing it to fit his own misguided views. As a Canadian, it’s infuriating. Imagine if he did that with the American anthem?

Ugh.

The “All Lives Matter” campaign is so misguided and it’s ridiculous a tenor thought it was appropriate to display a sign during the MLB All-Star Game which is a huge event watched by millions of people. “All Lives Matter” which is a spin on the “Black Lives Matter” movement, which is an effective and important activist movement which peacefully protests against violence and discrimination against black people. “All Lives Matter”, meanwhile, is white people thinking that “Black Lives Matter” is too centered on black people – and totally misses the point of the group entirely. Here’s a perfect image to encapsulate how misguided “All Lives Matter” is:

It’s a shame this idiot used his platform to make a dumb political statement. The MLB should be embarrassed. This guy should never sing at a public place again and keep his narrow views at home.
