The Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees will play a regular-season game on Thursday night at the Field of Dreams site in Dyersville, IA. That game will take place at a pop-up ballpark right next to the diamond from the Field of Dreams 1989 movie, but two youth baseball teams — the Chicago White Sox ACE and the New York-based DREAM — got to experience the movie diamond for a game on Wednesday night.
Playing on this field — and in a nationally televised game (FS1) — had to be enough of a thrill for these kids, but one of them even hit a grand slam into the corn.
14-year-old catcher Brandon Stinson of the Chicago White Sox ACE team crushed a grand slam into the corn in the bottom of the first inning.

MLB will be giving media members a tour of the Field of Dreams park today. They’re still putting many of the finishing touches on it. But it’s quite the setup. pic.twitter.com/92rdkGjX8F
