PITTSBURGH, PA – JULY 19: Josh Harrison #5 of the Pittsburgh Pirates celebrates as he heads towards home plate after hitting a triple and comes in to score on a throwing error by Scooter Gennett #2 of the Milwaukee Brewers to give the Pittsburgh Pirates a 3-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at PNC Park on July 19, 2016 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Little League World Series is still a few weeks away, but the Pittsburgh Pirates took advantage of the kind of play you usually only see on the Little League diamond. It won them the game in walk-off fashion.

With the Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers tied in the bottom of the ninth at 2-2, Josh Harrison got himself into scoring position with a lead-off triple. Of course, that would prove to be the game-winner when a throwing error by Scooter Gennett found its way into the stands. With that being the case, Harrison was awarded an extra base, which in this case just so happened to be home plate for a run. Raise it by any means necessary, right?

The wild walk-off was a bit of a fun way to finish off a night that had a good scare early on in the evening. Rookie Pirates pitcher Jameson Taillon was nailed in the head by a line-drive from Hernan Perez. After being left on the ground for a few minutes, Taillon managed to stay in the game to toss six innings and allowing just one run. That was quite a night in Pittsburgh.
