In a story that the Cincinnati Zoo is certainly not going to enjoy, a Boston Red Sox fan wore a “Harambe 69” jersey during the team’s game against the Kansas City Royals on Sunday night at Fenway Park… and ran onto the field.

The fan jumped into the outfield from the stands down the right field line, and pointed to the sky on his dash around the outfield, presumably as a gesture to the fallen ape.

Mr. Harambe 69 was crushed by security, as is usually the case when a fan gets loose on the field (I say “usually”, because there was that time an Astros fan incredibly got away from security in Houston).
