It’s been a pretty miserable 2016 for the Atlanta Braves, as they own MLB’s worst record at 19-46. They’re 8-27 at home.

But there have been a few fun things to come out of the 2016 year so far for the Braves.

1. It technically happened in December of 2015, but they absolutely robbed the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Shelby Miller trade. In getting back Ender Inciarte, Aaron Blair, and Dansby Swanson (the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s draft), it would’ve been an amazing trade even if Miller pitched like he did last year. But Miller’s been a train wreck this season, making the trade look like even more of a steal for Atlanta. If the Braves’ full-on rebuild goes as planned, this trade could be the main thing we look back on.

2. If the Shelby Miller trade isn’t the main thing we look back on for the Braves’ rebuild, it may be the draft, where they’re going to likely get a top-three pick in next year’s, and probably a top-three pick in the 2018 draft as well. Ask the Cubs and Astros how important this is to rebuilding an organization.

3. And then there’s the Freddie Freeman cycle, which happened on Wednesday night in an actual Braves win! Granted, the win took 13 innings and was against another dumpster fire in the Cincinnati Reds (26-40), but a win’s a win. A cycle and a win (even if they’re probably better off losing), all in the same night? Good times.

The homer Freeman hit as part of the cycle was an inside-out swing and looked like a normal flyball off the bat. Pretty amazing strength from the two-time All-Star, who is the one Brave the opposing team worries about on a nightly basis. Here’s video of the dinger:

And here’s Freeman’s single to complete the cycle in the 11th inning:

The game itself was wacky, with the Braves scoring three runs in the bottom of the 13th to win 9-8 on a walk-off single from Chase d’Arnaud.
