It’s just about that time of the year when pitchers and catchers begin making their way to Spring Training. It looks as though Texas Rangers pitcher Cole Hamels is going to skip packing some razors and shaving cream.
The usually smooth, babyfaced Hamels is taking a cue from his former Phillies teammate Jayson Werth and turning heads with his new signature look with a beard that would make a lumberjack envious. The new bearded-Hamels was unveiled at a charity event alongside his wife to raise money for The Hamels Foundation.

Seeing Hamels with some facial hair is nothing new, but we have never seen anything quite like this from the Rangers ace.
Say what you will though, but the porn stache remains the ultimate facial hair phase we have seen Hamels rock over the years.
