As he frequently does, Texas Rangers third baseman — and potential future Hall of Famer — Adrian Beltre paid tribute to the Boyz II Men classic “On Bended Knee” with a swing on Tuesday night against the Houston Astros. And as he has also (incredibly) done many times on such a swing (example of another), he went yard for his 30th homer of the season.

To be able to turn on this ball and hit a freakin’ rocket homer, with one knee on the ground, is absolutely absurd. Especially when you’re 37 years old.

That’s Adrian Beltre for ya. He’s having another fantastic year, and despite being 37, would appear to have at least a couple more quality seasons left. And he’s already put together an amazing career that should get him very serious Hall of Fame consideration even if he retired today.
