Go figure a game featuring one team that rallied around a monkey, and another that cheered a squirrel, would have a bit of a four-legged twist. A cat broke onto the field at Angel Stadium in the bottom of the fourth inning of a game between the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and St. Louis Cardinals:

It does not look like the cat was on the field for very long. The cat appeared to find an exit to the stands pretty quickly, at which point it appears to have scrambled down the row of seats, causing the fans to jump out of their seats. Finally, a staff member of the Angels gets a hold of the feline and, we hope, escorted it to safety.

The blooper referred to in the video clip above can be seen below, when a cat fought back against a Seattle Mariners grounds crew member. It really is one of the classic bloopers in baseball history.
