Yasiel Puig is both a star in the outfield and on social media.

The Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder has become must-follow entertainment on Twitter in recent weeks. It all started when Puig caught notice of new L.A. Rams quarterback Jared Goff’s three-year-old tweet, saying how he wanted Puig to be hit in the ribs with a baseball. Puig responded graciously, by sending him a “big hug,” and asking him to come to a Dodgers game. Goff responded by apologizing and taking him up on the offer.

Now, Puig is at it again. He tweeted out this incredible photo of him holding a huge fish that he caught at sea.

He was joined on the fishing trip by Dodgers teammate Adrian Gonzalez.

I’m not sure what my favorite part of the first tweet is. Is it the hashtag #PuigHungry following by the fitting emojis? Is it the fact he’s got the word popular written on the crotch of his pants? Or is it Puig is wearing a Dodgers beanie and staying on #brand. The photo is a great encapsulation of Puig’s non-stop energy.

Puig seems to be loving life and doing things his own way. You can’t fault him for that. His social media presence has been fantastic in recent weeks and hopefully, he continues to post more because he’s providing fans with a great peak into his life.
