The Los Angeles Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig is very interesting, and very talented. This has been on full display Friday night in Game 1 of the NLDS against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Let’s start with the “very interesting” part.
In the top of the first inning, Puig decided to lick his baseball bat, for some reason. What he quickly learned is that his baseball bat does not taste good.

But now we get to the “very talented” part. Puig would put together a very solid plate appearance and it concluded with him smoking an RBI double deep into right-center as part of the Dodgers’ four-run first inning:
We’ll stay with the “very talented” part, as Puig continued to show off his offensive skills and his speed with a triple down the left field line. You don’t see too many of these:
And back to the “very interesting” part, which you may have noticed with his celebration at the end of that triple:
