It appears the UFC is getting into the Logan Paul business.
No, Paul will not be fighting in UFC, but his drink company Prime entered a multi-year partnership with the MMA company to be the “Official Global Sports Drink of UFC.” The agreement will debut at UFC 284 in less than two weeks.
Apparently, Prime will have a sizable presence at UFC events as it will be the presenting sponsor at each UFC PPV weigh-in, as well as branding at all UFC PPVs and Fight Nights, among other events. In addition, it will be the first presenting partner of the UFC Foundation.
On Monday, Paul teased a “major announcement” and tagged UFC president Dana White. That left things open to interpretation, and some thought there was the possibility of a fight. Chances are that White will be more accepting of Prime as an official sports drink than when Mac and Charlie from It’s Always Sunny tried to make Fight Milk the official drink of the UFC.
Paul recently appeared in WWE’s Royal Rumble, entering the men’s Rumble at #29. He lasted over 10 minutes before getting eliminated by eventual winner Cody Rhodes. Paul has a boxing match against Tommy Fury that is set for the end of February.
