The MMA Ten keeps you updated on the latest news from the world of the UFC and beyond. This week: Check out some hilarious fighter impressions courtesy of Kenny Florian and Michael Bisping, an amazing knockout from Edson Barboza, disgusting fighter injuries, and a fighter who thinks the Cash Me Outside girl would be a UFC hit. Here comes the Ten!

We Have a Knockout of the Year Candidate

Edson Barboza is known for some of the most spectacular finishes in the UFC, but it had been a while since he registered a finish of any kind. The last time Barboza ended a fight before the final horn came back in 2014, when he delivered a deadly liver kick that felled Evan Dunham.

Barboza was back at it last weekend with a knee that absolutely wrecked Beneil Dariush. Listen for the proverbial sickening thud.

Barboza moves up to No. 5 in the UFC lightweight division, so whenever Conor McGregor is done getting pasted by Floyd Mayweather, he has plenty of contenders waiting for him. A fight with Barboza would be thrilling.

Staph Infection Is Really Gross, So Here’s a Video

How does it look to have an infection eating away your muscle and skin? It’s not pretty, as you can imagine, and it’s also not fun. Veteran fighter James Krause will appear on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, and Krause received a cut during the filming of the show.

Krause ended up developing staph infection at the site of the cut, and thankfully he shot plenty of video and pictures! Put that burger down for this.

Best line from Krause, to the doctor: “I feel like you’re ripping my skin out. Is that true?”

Doctor, ever so casually: “Mm-hmm.”

Now here is Krause with what looks to be a fantastic zipper:

Get well soon, James Krause.

Double Knockout Wrecks Both Fighters

Alan Vasquez and Angel Cazares met at Shamrock FC 285 last weekend. Both fighters got knocked out, but only one got their hand raised.

Vasquez got the win, and apparently a date with a rhinoplasty surgeon.

Mark Hunt Still Dishing Out Steroid Accusations

Mark Hunt fought Alistair Overeem at UFC 209 and got in his fair share of shots, but an Overeem knee left Hunt literally out on his feet. He then fell to the ground and the ref quickly stepped in to stop the fight.

Overeem told Sirius Radio that he was about 70 to 80 percent for that fight and Mark Hunt helped him finish his thought.

Hunt is at 100 percent now after the fight — with sour grapes.

Your MMA Nickname Battle of the Week

(Photo by Buda Mendes/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images)

Your MMA nickname battle of the week goes down in the UFC women’s bantamweight division as Lina “Elbow Queen” Lansberg takes on Lucie “Bullet” Pudilova. Lansberg had the privilege of fighting Cris Cyborg in her UFC debut and she was knocked out in that fight in the second round. But she has higher hopes for this weekend and the “Elbow Queen” got her nickname for her fierce elbow strikes.

“I think blood is really nice and that’s what elbows do!” Lansberg told UFC.com.

Lucie “Bullet” Pudilova said she received her nickname due to her speed. “I’m fast, like a bullet.” Both fighters are 6-1 and their fight will kick off UFC Fight Night: Manuwa vs. Anderson from London, and it can be seen on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 1:30 P.M. ET.

Bisping and Florian: UFC Fighter Impressions

UFC Tonight makes for some fun TV, especially when Kenny Florian and Michael Bisping break out their fighter impressions with cute little masks. Watch as they act out their takes on Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, Luke Rockhold, and Yoel Romero. Hilarity ensues.

Mighty Mouse: Cash Me Outside Girl Would Be UFC Star

(Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images)

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson sprayed to all fields in an interview with Ariel Helwani and The MMA Hour, and that included his opinion on everyone’s favorite degenerate teenager, Danielle Bregoli, the “Cash Me Outside” girl.

“I guarantee you if you get her some gloves and put her in the Octagon, she would be the highest selling pay-per-view fighter in the world. She’d probably do way more numbers than Ronda. Just because she brings drama and negativity to wherever she goes,” Johnson said.

I don’t disagree with him but that’s because most people want to see her get her attitude corrected. Where better to do that then the Octagon? And while we’re at it, maybe Dr. Phil could be on the same card. That dude has deserved a tune up for a long time.

I think I just stumbled on to my next piece for The ComebackTop 10 Celebrities You’d Like to See Throttled in the UFC.

Colby Covington’s Fake GMail Gag Is a Hoot

It’s not an original gag, but when executed correctly, ridiculing someone with a graphic of their fake inbox is good for some laughs. UFC fighter Colby Covington recently trolled former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos on Twitter with one, and it was a knockout.

UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes Might Fight Again

Former UFC welterweight champion and Hall of Famer Matt Hughes was on Undeniable with Joe Buck and hinted that he might be making a comeback and it might be against another UFC Hall of Famer — Royce Gracie.

I’m a sucker for my favorite old fighters, so I’d watch. But it does beg the question: how much TV time does Joe Buck really need? Sheesh, you couldn’t have let an up-and-comer have that gig?

A Brazilian Fighter Walks Into a Bar…

Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum knows that you can’t fight forever. Unless you’re married. (RIM SHOT) So Werdum, who is always making goofy faces, decided to open up a comedy club in his native Brazil.

“I have other investments because I’m already 39 and even though I want to keep fighting for a long time, I’m thinking about the future, as a long term investment. And it’s not only about that, but I also want to do something I like. I have always been like this. I like doing this and I’m lucky I’m able to make a living out of it. Not many people are lucky to work with something they like.”

“That’s why this new chapter of my life is something I wanted bad. I always liked comedy. People who know me know I’m always joking around. I’m no comedian, but I know them all. I have a good relationship with Brazilian comics such as Tom Cavalcanti, Leandro Hassum and Luiz Franca, who is my partner in this. I’m very grateful to be able to do two things I really enjoy.”

Werdum is certainly one of the good guys in the sport, so good for him. We’ll be back with another MMA Ten next week!
