We are really in for a treat at UFC 197 if this holds true.

The pay-per-view event, slated for March 5 in Las Vegas, will reportedly boast two major title bouts. The first pits Conor McGregor (19-2 record), moving up from featherweight class, to take on lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos (25-7) for the 155-pound belt. Co-headlining the main event will be new female bantamweight champ Holly Holm (10-0) defending her title against Meisha Tate (17-5).

Jeremy Botter of Bleacher Report was the first to break the news of the card.

For Holm, she gets the match that she requested before a rematch with Ronda Rousey (who hasn’t decided when she’s fighting next), whom she defeated via knockout in a shocking upset at UFC 193 in November. Tate hasn’t fought since July and was hoping for a title match with Rousey. Now she has one versus Holm.

McGregor is coming off the fastest championship victory in UFC history, knocking out Jose Aldo in an impressive 13 seconds. He remains undefeated in the UFC at 7-0.

The 31-year-old Dos Anjos will be looking to break that undefeated streak. He most recently defeated Anthony Pettis at UFC 185 for the belt, and successfully defended it against Donald Cerrone at UFC on FOX 17 in late December.

If McGregor can knock off dos Anjos, he would be the first to hold two belts at the same time. That would be pretty impressive considering some of the great fighters we have seen over the years.

The UFC has not officially announced either fight. Sources told ESPN that agreements for the bouts have yet to be signed.
