UFC fighter Tony Ferguson was arrested early Sunday morning after police found his truck flipped over after striking two parked cars.
Ferguson is a longtime mainstay of the UFC, first competing in the organization in 2011 after winning the hit reality television show The Ultimate Fighter.
Video of the incident emerged from ABC7 reporter Marc Cota-Robles that shows Ferguson’s truck flipped on its side.

According to TMZ, Ferguson was found by police on Sunday morning where he was described as “very uncooperative” after refusing to take a field sobriety test. Cops on the scene also detailed that Ferguson smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. He was subsequently arrested for suspicion of drunk driving.
Luckily nobody was harmed in this incident, but he is currently facing misdemeanor DUI charges.
Ferguson has had his share of run-ins with the law before. His wife filed a request for a temporary domestic violence restraining order in 2019 after allegedly taking their son for six days.
Many fans took to social media to discuss this concerning incident from Ferguson.

I’ll never understand why athletes (or anyone) does this. There’s no way these athletes miss news stories of other athletes/celebrities who get caught doing this, yet they still do it. https://t.co/ev6woiV2YI

Ferguson was once one of the most promising fighters on the UFC roster, even fighting for the UFC lightweight title in 2020 against Justin Gaethje.
However, his career has taken a harsh nosedive, as he’s lost his last five fights in the octagon. His professional career appears to be spiraling, and if this incident is any indication his personal life is unfortunately following suit.
