The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Los Angeles Lakers 105-87 on Thursday, but it was an otherwise ugly night at the Wells Fargo Center for the Sixers.
Two Philadelphia fans were ejected after taunting Carmelo Anthony, with one of the fans allegedly calling Anthony “boy” repeatedly.
And the arena crew had a rough mishap by incorrectly spelling the name of Sixers legend Julius Erving on the videoboard.
Yikes. The 76ers spelled Dr. J’s name wrong. pic.twitter.com/O9Z6fTj4f8

Dr. J is the greatest 76er of all-time, and they can’t even get his name right? Heck, his number is retired in the arena with his correct name showing!
If only there was a big huge sign or something hanging there in the arena to help someone who wasn't sure. pic.twitter.com/3tYS3YV7sv
