Tuesday night’s Pistons-76ers game in Detroit had a little bit of everything, including a Joel Embiid flop that led to an Andre Drummond ejection.
But it also featured overtime, 265 total points scored, and 50 points scored for Blake Griffin.
Griffin threw down this poster dunk on Embiid as part of a 28-point first half:

And in overtime, Philadelphia’s JJ Redick gave the Sixers the lead on this and-one three-pointer:

But Griffin responded with an and-one of his own that would serve as the game-winner for Detroit:

50-14-6 on 20/35, 5/10 from deep, game-winning And-One with 1.8 left in OT, just one turnover. Played smart and solid defense all game. What a night for Blake Griffin.

Tonight, Blake Griffin became the first @DetroitPistons player since Isiah Thomas (46 PTS, 10 REB on Feb. 8, 1983) to put up 40+ PTS and 10+ REB in a game. pic.twitter.com/32TokPVJGC

Griffin has led the Pistons to an impressive 3-0 start, and they have an excellent chance to make it a 4-0 start with their next game against a rebuilding Cavs team.
