Former New York Knick Charles Oakley is currently engaged in a seemingly never-ending feud with Knicks owner James Dolan after Dolan kicked Oakley out of Madison Square Garden and got him arrested.
Oakley is no longer banned from MSG, but he said he’s not coming back until he gets an adequate apology, which sounds like it might never come.
That said, Oakley isn’t boycotting all Knicks games. A Cleveland native, ESPN reports that he will be attending Thursday’s Knicks-Cavaliers game at Quicken Loans Arena as a guest of Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert.
Charles Oakley plans to attend tonight's Knicks-Cavs game in Cleveland, he confirmed to ESPN's Jeff Goodman. Oakley's close with LeBron.

Oakley seemingly confirmed the visit on Twitter.

It’s unclear whether Oakley’s appearance was Gilbert’s idea or at the request of LeBron James. James told Cleveland.com that he was angry at the Knicks’ portrayal of Oakley as an alcoholic who “needs help.”
“He ain’t like that, and if you ask any player in our league now who knows him, they’d say the same thing,” James said.
After the incident, James also said, “Charles Oakley for president,” and he posted this picture on Instagram:

It’s unclear who Oakley will be cheering for in Cleveland, but he seems to have a bigger fan in James than he does in his former team’s owner.
