The Los Angeles Clippers outscored the Denver Nuggets 29-19 in the fourth quarter to escape with a 113-107 victory in Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference semifinals.

Los Angeles got 55 combined points from Paul George (32) and Kawhi Leonard (23), and Leonard also did his usual thing on the defensive end. This block in the fourth quarter vs Jamal Murray is one of the most ridiculous defensive plays you’ll ever see:

The Nuggets had some incredible plays themselves, like this amazing poster dunk from Michael Porter Jr. in the third quarter:

Denver almost pulled off the upset — they were 8.5-point underdogs — for the second consecutive game, but the Clippers veterans stepped up on both ends down the stretch. But if Denver can keep playing like they have in Games 2 and 3, we could have a deep, thrilling series.

The Nuggets will surely need to win Game 4 if they’re to have a realistic chance in this series. That game tips off on Wednesday night at 9:00 p.m. ET (ESPN) in the Orlando bubble.
